USA Data Conversion in Smallworld PNI4.0

  • Migrated and converted over 24,000 miles of RF outside plant networks into Smallworld PNI
  • As-built updating of 16,000 miles existing GIS network data including status changes on the plant maps (ie: planned build vs. in service), boundary corrections (zip, town, node, etc). Adding association between network objects and civil structures
  • Evaluation of incoming data and clarification via an agreed Request for Information (RFI) process
  • Performed Clean-up on incoming AutoCAD drawings for migration to Smallworld PNI 4.0; performing initial QC, correction and edge matching of the source data in AutoCAD to ensure consistent layer structure, naming conventions, and projection systems
  • Development, configuration and use of ECHO's proprietary migration routines to transfer layers from the cleaned AutoCAD files into GIS objects
